The Regular Unregular Update

Fri Oct 17, 2008, 5:25 PM
It looks like I won't manage my yearly resolutions this year, but I have managed progress recently. I never managed to update this journal, I should try to do it more often though. If I did, I'd simply post my (slightly more common) MySpace blogs.

My mood has been going up and down of late. I'm working on getting it settled and under control again. Though I am trying to rely on my social and emotional masks less but I don't think anyone can be honest with everyone. Though I want to be honest with with a few more than before.

Anyway for the one or two who wasted the time to read this: See yall folks next time.

And a new year rolls in...

Yet I've failed to shake off this apathy that seems to have embraced my heart. I get flickers of inspiration for writing or other activities but I just do not seem to have any force of will behind it. At home for the winter holidays, which usually leaves my brain... stunted.

I ended up with a Tai Chi basics kind of dvd. Maybe getting a physical daily routine will help my wallow out of this useless phase.

Another Return to the Blood Red Walls

Tue Apr 10, 2007, 3:56 PM
It would seem I rarely post updates here except for when I return to my house and away from school. Maybe it is because I have this melancholy feel at home, whatever.

Easter has passed. So having a house full of family has passed. I still have not put up new pictures, or really take any for that matter. My camera is still in my mom's hand to help with real estating or whatever a proper verb would be. And this is spring break, so I have a number of projects to finish and tests when I return to college. Fun... fun.

You might be inclined to ask, "What is this journal about?" That would mean you do not know me. I rant. That is what I do. I have myspace blogs just for that. So what is this journal for? Rambling. Why? Because it is my damn journal.

Anyway, I hope you all have a pleasant day.

In The Home State, Surrounded By Blood Red Walls

Thu Jan 4, 2007, 6:15 PM
Went over to Lafayette to try to handle the matters there and move things into the apartment. Picked up the light bill and sending that off. Both my lava lamps and blacklight are in place in my room and brought a tv to go with the recliner I have in the leaving room. Currently the living room consists of those two items, I win. I really do not know where I was going with this post. I am zoned out here, just rambling...

I got a few favorites on Lonely Street, I don't get or expect favorites so it is always nice. But it was rather funny. I have this fancy camera which takes all these nice pictures... and its the one I took with my camera phone that people notice, ha! I also found out they charge me .25 for each of those I email to myself. So the 2 I sent to myself 15 times because service is garbage and it says 'Try again later' instead of 'We will resend it later when you might not be roaming... in a week.'
Again, thank you to those who favorited. It was probably one of the stranger pictures I have taken simply because I never had any intention of making the picture until that moment. Light turned green on me while getting out my camera, but I really did not care if anyone had to wait on me, lol.

Some people really do have great thoughts and the internet lets them spread those ideas. Here is a journal by *username And while you are there, check out his gallery, it's amazing as long as macabre art is not too much for you, ;)

Because of the chaos of trying to get together our small family, somehow spread across four states, I had my gift opening time on the 23rd, pwned you there.

Really tired but in a decent enough mood, even considering that ULL is trying to screw me over with a bill for seven grand next semester when it should be less than two. They honestly try to cheat me like this, I'm leaving that four year community college. They might have a big research section and all, but the college is run by a juco staff.

In other news, my Wii inventory is now up to 2 wiimotes, 2 nunchukas, and a classic controller. I have WiiSports, Zelda, Splinter Cell, Red Steel, and picked up a game cube game Clash of Ninjas 2 (but I need a game cube memory card. Nintendo just lost serious points with me for not having a way I can see of using internal memory for gamecube too).

I have managed to acquire quite a bit to take back to the apartment. The desk, bed, and two recliners are already there. I have a new set of tools. As well as a washer and dryer (probably two of the most important things lol). Then there are various small odds and ends to take back. So a decent haul all in all. Now if that twelve month lease did not feel like a chain around my leg when it comes to pulling away from ULL. I have to go into full dick mode January 3rd when their offices reopen. Find out why the canceled my out of state waiver (my cumulative GPA is 3.3+ and the 2.5 for that semester is above what I recall the minimum I saw, but their site is only half-updated most of the time and so I can find nothing other than how to apply for the scholarship (which is 2.75 cumulative gpa).

Any other news and repeated ranting? I guess not for now. Hopefully with the holidays thinning out and once I move crap in, I'll have a bit of time for all these new year resolution ideas.

  • Mood: Daily Needs
  • Listening to: The usual random playlist
  • Watching: Nothing on TV, starting to catch up on anime
  • Playing: with MUDs, NWN2, and my Wii
  • Drinking: Dr. Pepper
